From Repair Shop to Dream Home Destination

Urban Aerie was born out of a simple belief: that beautiful, well-crafted furniture should be accessible to everyone in South Florida — and that the people selling it should actually understand it.

Our journey began in furniture repair. We spent years fixing what others had given up on — restoring broken frames, patching torn upholstery, and breathing new life into pieces that had seen better days. That work gave us something most furniture retailers never have: a deep, hands-on understanding of how furniture is made, what makes it last, and what makes it fail.

From repair, we grew into full-service upholstery. Clients began asking us not just to fix their furniture, but to transform it — new fabrics, new finishes, new life. We became known across South Florida as the team that could make any piece look and feel like new.

Then came custom builds. Clients with specific visions, unusual spaces, or pieces they couldn't find anywhere else came to us. We built to order, to spec, and to style.

Eventually, the natural next step was clear: we should sell furniture too. And not just any furniture — pieces we stand behind, curated with the same eye for quality and craftsmanship we've developed over years in the trade.

Today, Urban Aerie offers a carefully selected collection of premium furniture delivered with our signature White Glove service across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. We carry every piece up flights of stairs, around tight corners, and into spaces other delivery teams walk away from. We assemble, we position, and we make sure everything is perfect before we leave.
